Please join us for an informational workshop about how to professionally and ethically conduct research with human subjects.
Description: Are you planning to lead or be on a research project that involves human subjects? The Research Protections Office offers this workshop to introduce you to the Institutional Review Board (IRB) process, which provides regulatory and ethical oversight for research with humans. We will also discuss some of the ethical dilemmas of balancing research with the protection of human subjects. IRB approval is mandatory before you start your recruitment, and this workshop is designed to help you navigate the IRB process, and pitfalls of an IRB review.
