The office of Research Protections welcomes Monica Maria Molina back as the new Associate Director of Research Protections.
Monica brings both regulatory oversight and research coordination experience to this role. She was previously employed by our office as the Assistant Director of Research Protections and is familiar with our research community as well as our office's varied compliance programs. She has worked for the University of Miami's, Miller School of Medicine and for Duke University Health System's IRB office. She has an undergraduate degree from the University of Miami and a JD from New York Law School.
Monica will serve as the primary point of contact for the COI, Export Controls, and RCR programs as well as helping manage other compliance programs as needed.
