The office of Research Protections welcomes Willow Madison Greene as our newest member and IRB Analyst. She graduated from Buffalo State University in 2019 with a BA in Sociology and a double minor in Political Science and Women and Gender Studies, and from University at Buffalo in 2021 with an MA in Sociology concentrating on the intersection of family processes, gender roles, and precarious employment. Her Master’s thesis, a qualitative open-ended interview, involved human subjects participants. Her post-graduate work was in refugee resettlement where she worked with community stakeholders to generate employment and vocational skills training that was inclusive of New Americans in her native city of Buffalo, NY. She will be working with our Institutional Review Board and human subjects program.
