IACUC and IBC - Cayuse transition and training

Hello Researchers,

The IACUC and IBC office is in the process of transitioning to a new electronic protocol system called Cayuse. We are scheduled to begin using Cayuse in June 2022. A one-hour training session covering both IACUC and IBC modules with Saray Josway, from Cayuse, is scheduled for Thursday, May 26th, 11:30am-12:30pm.  You will receive a Zoom link to your email from Sarah to save the date. Sarah will introduce you to the Cayuse protocol software and lead you through the new workflow.

There will be a blackout period for 2 weeks - from May 23rd - to June 3rd while we transition to Cayuse and get the new site up and running. Up until that date, new submissions and renewals will be accepted for IACUC and IBC review via email.  Any new submissions or renewals from May 23rd and beyond will move forward for review in Cayuse only.

If you can not attend the training session, the session will be recorded and available on the IACUC and IBC website tabs under the left column in “Cayuse Resources”. On-demand training sessions will be available with me via Zoom at any time after the initial training from Cayuse.  Please contact me at mathessc@appstate.edu to schedule this.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you,

Shante’ Mathes
